LATEST LEEDS UNITED CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY-OFF ODDS AHEAD OF NORWICH CITY ENCOUNTER

Leeds United travel to Carrow Road on Sunday lunchtime looking to put one foot firmly in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.

Daniel Farke ’s side ended the regular season with a defeat to Southampton at Elland Road. Joel Piroe had given the Whites an early lead, only for Adam Armstrong and Will Smallbone to complete a first-half turnaround to give them momentum heading into their encounter with West Brom later that afternoon.

The result saw Leeds finish the campaign in third, six points behind Ipswich Town who were promoted to the Premier League along with Leicester City after their triumph over Huddersfield Town. The defeat was also their fourth in six matches ahead of their meeting with the Canaries.

But they will be hopeful of returning to their mid-season form which resulted in a 15-game unbeaten run, having failed to achieve promotion in their previous five play-off campaigns. But what do bookmakers think will happen? Leeds Live has taken a look at the latest odds.

According to Sky Bet, Leeds are 6/4 favourites to win the Championship play-offs, marginally ahead of Southampton who are priced at 13/8. Both Norwich City and West Brom have been given an outside price of reaching the final at Wembley, with odds of 9/2 and 11/2 respectively.

When looking at the other odds and the Whites' potential opponents at Wembley, Russell Martin's side are the most likely to meet Leeds in the final, with the bookmakers pricing a potential fixture at 11/10. The chances of the Canaries meeting the Baggies in the capital is available to customers at 7/1.

The Whites will go into the game with some degree of confidence despite their recent form. Against David Wagner's side, they have won their last four meetings across their time in the Championship and the Premier League, not tasting defeat at Carrow Road since April 2018.
