MARC ROCA COINS JAVI GRACIA MANTRA AS HE BACKS LEEDS UNITED AHEAD OF ARSENAL CLASH

Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca has leant on Javi Gracia's mantra on focusing on the next game only as he backed his teammates to put in a "good performance" against Arsenal.

The Whites travel to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they take on the league leaders in the nation's capital. Mikel Arteta's process at Arsenal has finally clicked into gear this term as his side have set the pace from the start of the season and refused to look back.

Leeds will be hoping that the international break has disrupted Arsenal's form with the Gunners winning six straight top-flight matches prior to the pause from domestic football. Aside from a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea, Leeds themselves are unbeaten under Gracia with wins against Wolves and Southampton alongside a 2-2 draw with Brighton.

Arsenal ran out 1-0 winners at Elland Road back in October in a game where Leeds had plenty of chances to take something from the game, most noticeably a missed spot-kick from Patrick Bamford. And Roca has looked to that performance as inspiration for their upcoming game against the North London club.

“We don’t think much about: ‘We have to win here, there, how many points do we have to make?’. We have to just focus on the next game, the next game is always the most important," Roca told Sky Sports.

"And now we have a really good game against Arsenal. We have to do our best. I think we did a really good performance against good teams – we played really well against Arsenal at home as well and I think we can do a good performance [again]."
