NEWCASTLE UNITED TRANSFER WINDOW SUMMER 2024 FINAL COUNT - 6 IN AND 12 OUT

The Newcastle United transfer window has finally closed for business.

After all those days of excitement, frustration and tension, the window closed at 11pm on Friday 30 August 2024.

In four months time we can do it all again, when we get to January 2025 and it all kicks off once more.

However, time to review what turned out to be an ‘interesting’ Newcastle United transfer window.

Will Osula proving to be the very final incoming player, when signed on 8 August 2024, meaning these last 22 days of the window haven’t seen a single signing, not even on loan.

Newcastle United transfer window summer 2024 – The ins

Lewis Hall – Permanent £28m signing triggered after loan season.

Miodrag Pivas – The 19 year old arriving for a reported £1m from FK Jedinstvo

Newcastle United transfer window summer 2024 – The outs

Matt Ritchie – Released

Loris Karius – Released

Jeff Hendrick – Released

Kell Watts – Released

Elliot Anderson – Sold to Forest for a reported £35m

Yankuba Minteh – Sold to Brighton for a reported £33m

Max Thompson – Loan to Chesterfield

Jamie Miley – Loan to Newport

Ryan Fraser – Newcastle forced to cancel final year of his contract to get rid of him, so he could go as free agent to Southampton

***Whilst no more incoming signings can come in as the Premier League window has closed, the transfer windows in the likes of Turkey, Belgium and Saudi Arabia remain open. With claims this week of Vlachodimos set to go on loan to Anderlecht in the coming days, whilst a surprise if Isaac Hayden stays at NUFC, he went to Standard Liege last September (2023).
