PRINCE WILLIAM HAILS ENGLAND'S HEROES AFTER AN "EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER" WIN IN THE EUROS

Prince William has hailed England's "emotional rollercoaster" tonight as the Three Lions emerged victorious in an epic comeback against Slovakia.

An incredible overhead kick from Jude Bellingham in the 95th minute saved England's blushes after they went down 1-0 to the Slovakians in normal time and looked set to be dumped out of the the tournament.

Then in extra time an Ivan Toney header set up captain Harry Kane to score the second goal to seal the under-fire team's progress into a quarter final clash against Switzerland.

Prince William took to the X social media site to share his thoughts on a stunning night of football that took himself and many fans to brink.

Posting on the Kensington Royal account the Prince, who is President of the English FA, wrote: "Emotional rollercoaster! Let's go England! Quarter finals here we come! W"
